What is the Habit Reset?

Holidity founder, Dr Julia Jones, devised this simple and successful habit change approach following her 5-year research.

Just pick one habit 'hack' from our recommended list.

Dr Julia acts as your Accountability Partner, sending you a daily WhatsApp message. Just respond with a simple Thumbs Up when you action your chosen habit hack.

These simple, evolutionary-science-based ‘hacks’ target daily habits linked with common health struggles such as weight gain, poor sleep, stress, smoking, stress, inactivity, alcohol intake.

For example, one of the habit-hacks is simply having your breakfast later during weekdays. This helps extend the overnight fasting window and can deliver multiple health benefits.

Why is it effective?

The Habit Reset features 3 vital elements that are missing in other health programmes:

1. A human accountability partner (this increases your chance of success)

2. Efficiency of the hacks (they are aligned with your ancient evolutionary biology to help boost health pillars)

3. Ease of use via WhatsApp

When you join the Habit Reset you are shown the key habit hacks and asked to choose just ONE to try and action every day for 30-Days.

You are also invited to join Dr Julia Jones in a private WhatsApp chat. Julia acts as your Accountability Partner and sends you a simple message every day (except weekends so you can let your hair down).

In that daily message she asks if you managed to action your chosen habit hack that day. You simply respond to her daily message with a ‘Thumbs Up’ if you did it, or with a ‘Heart’ if you didn’t but your heart is still in the journey. The important part is to check in with Dr Julia each day and start building the habit of at least thinking about your habit hack each day. Eventually you will begin to embed the habit hack you chose.

Once you are happy that it’s become a normal part of your daily routine you can repeat the Habit Reset process choosing another habit-hack from the suggested list.

How long does the Habit Reset programme last?

The initial Habit Reset period lasts 30-Days. At the end of that you can choose to renew and continue to work on your habits for as long as you like.

Who is Dr Julia Jones?

Julia is a respected British neuroscientist, former Olympic psychologist and bestselling author.

She was first shown these simple ‘hacks’ during a visit to the US Navy SEALs base in the early 1990s. She has spent the past 5 years researching why five decades of huge diet fads and fitness trends have failed to produce any healthy nations. She identified that the biggest driver of the chronic physical and mental health crisis ISN’T actually poor nutrition, inactivity, high stress or lack of sleep…it’s the fact that most people simply cannot make permanent changes to their daily habits. This failure isn’t due to our lack of “will power” it’s due to the evolutionary biology we have inherited and the impossible modern environment that we now live in. Julia identified a range of simple ‘hacks’ that were simple and affordable to embed into everyday routines that successfully help adjust the daily habits that are slowly killing us.

As part of her research Julia cancelled her gym membership on 1st January 2020 and instead began adopting these simple habit hacks into her regular routine. She created the ‘Habit Reset’ to help others benefit from this simple approach.

What is Holidity?

Dr Julia Jones incorporated a company called Neuron Wellness Limited in 2019. Neuron Wellness Ltd raised EIS investment to fund the research and development work.

In January 2024, Neuron Wellness Ltd launched ‘Holidity’ as an expert habit change brand to start delivering the Habit Reset and help address the global health crisis.
