This new innovation programme, launched in partnership by business growth agency London & Partners and UK music industry organisation BPI, last week officially kicked off its pioneering 12-week business support programme for exciting London, East and South East-based SMEs who have a product, service or idea that features an element of music.
On this Accelerator programme, Holidity will further develop its MusicHacks breathing collection, launched in 2023 in collaboration with Universal Production Music, as a support tool for the ‘Habit Reset’, and will accelerate growth plans by distributing this Habit Reset product via brand partnerships to quickly scale-up customer reach.
The 14th and 15th of September 2024 saw the programme’s launch weekend take place at the iconic Abbey Road Studios, with Studio Three playing host to two days of workshops, breakout sessions and keynotes from the Accelerator team and mentors.
This ‘Grow Music’ Accelerator is part of Grow London Early Stage, London & Partners’ business support programme for early-stage growth companies active in high growth sectors that support sustainable and inclusive growth in London. The programme is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
This business support programme is designed to grow and test SMEs’ business and ideas, offering unparalleled access to industry, and positioning London as a hub of technology, innovation, music, and growth.
The Accelerator will help these founders make fruitful growth connections and access routes to investment alongside in-person mentoring, networking and pitch events.
Over the course of the programme, participants will be supported by a host of mentors, made up of founders, industry specialists, investors, recruiters and more.
Louise Conolly-Smith, Head of Creative at London & Partners said:
“London is one of the most creative cities on the planet and an exciting global centre for innovation and technology. London is also a thriving business ecosystem with all the ingredients a company needs to develop and scale. That's why we’re really proud of this programme and its plans to support the next generation of innovation.”
Dr Julia Jones, Holidity Founder said:
“Innovation is hard. The R&D phase can take a very long time and time costs money. So, I’m absolutely delighted that the innovation work I’ve been leading with many colleagues and supporters since 2019 has been recognised in this way. Participating in this programme alongside other incredible founders and mentors is already making a significant difference in progressing our mission to help tackle the health crisis through this simple, affordable, science-based, habit change solution.”
