How to measure your current life expectancy and healthspan

How to measure your current life expectancy and healthspan

I am currently here in the Aegean conducting final research, re-examining the truth about the  Mediterranean lifestyle, and drafting the White Paper that will detail the findings of our ongoing R&D project that has consumed every waking and sleeping moment of my life since I set out on this mission in 2019.

This is the village cemetery. A beautiful and peaceful location at the edge of the sea nestled between the Church and the old fort. I visited every grave, noting the ages of these local residents who had passed away over the recent years.

1 in 2 of them lived to be over 85-years of age.

Almost 1 in 3 of them lived to more than 90-years of age.

As you walk around the village streets you see the older residents sitting outside their homes chatting with their families and neighbours.

They are immersed in the Mediterranean lifestyle. Those daily habits and routines are built naturally - shaped by their culture and the environment that surrounds them. It's effortless.

In comparison, in the UK (and many other countries) we try to force this Mediterranean existence through sheer effort in a culture and environment that often makes it pretty difficult.

How long do you think you will live (your lifespan)? And how many of those years will you enjoy good health (your healthspan)?

Here are 2 simple and free online calculators that can give you an estimate of your predicted lifespan and healthspan.
